Looking for real problems to work on Remote, or in Bhubaneswar
I love solving problems. Especially the messy business kind.
Give me something inefficient, repetitive, or held together by one overworked person, and I will start asking why it works that way, what could be simpler, and what could run without anyone touching it. I have been doing this to my own businesses since I was a teenager. I want to do it inside someone else’s.
I am not an experienced operator yet. This page is about how I think, not how senior I am.
How I think
1 Why are we doing it this way? 2 Can this be simpler? 3 Can this be automated? 4 Can we build a system around it? 5 Can it work without me?
Three problems I couldn’t leave alone
-
Knox Technologies Founder · Nov 2022 – Present
“The agency that ran on my hours”
The problem. A Shopify agency for D2C brands that started as one person and had to stop depending on him.
What I did. Turned delivery into a repeatable pipeline. Cut the service menu to two things. Hired six people with clear ownership. Documented before delegating.
- 21 → 9 days Average project turnaround
- 45+ D2C brands, incl. boAt, FNP, Miduty
- ₹1Cr+ ARR, from zero
- 95%+ Client satisfaction, held while turnaround halved

elevraa Head of Operations · Feb 2026 – Jul 2026
“The founder was the operating system”
The problem. A LinkedIn outreach agency where every decision routed through one person’s calendar.
What I did. Mapped the business as four systems, not one. Wrote SOPs and one owned number for each of seven roles. Put billing on a fixed cycle. Built a second line and pulled the founder out of eight workflows.
- 9 → 3 days Client onboarding
- 34 → 10 days Cash collection cycle
- −62% Overdue receivables
- +18% Client retention

Knox Books Founder · Jun 2026 – Present
“The bookkeeping I refused to keep doing”
The problem. Monthly finance admin that lived in three tools, automated for myself first and then for others.
What I did. Built the automation for myself first. Realised every agency and freelancer had the same problem. Partnered with CA firms for the parts that need humans.
- 7 months Concept to launch
- Python Built hands-on, not briefed out
- CA firms Compliance partnerships
Before that 4 Android apps on the Play Store · 30+ freelance WordPress, Shopify and automation projects · Secure My WP, a WordPress security product · My Craft Shop, a D2C marketplace. Most of these failed at sales. All of them taught me which part of a business I actually like.
What I want next
I want real exposure to messy operational problems inside a company that is growing faster than its systems.
- Founder’s Office
- Business Operations
- Strategy & Ops
- Process improvement / automation
Internship, project-based work, or a full-time early role. I am flexible on the shape, not the substance.
- Founder-led, roughly 10–200 people, where operations is still a person rather than a department.
- A messy problem with no job description attached to it.
- Remote, or on-site in Bhubaneswar. That is the constraint for now.
What I’m not looking for
- A role where “operations” means processing tickets someone else defined.
- A role that is mostly sales or outreach.
- Being measured by hours at a desk rather than by what got fixed.
